Nichole S.
Infants -
With a teaching degree in childcare and nearly 16 years of experience in infant care, Nichole has been a vital part of our team since 2016.
She enjoys nurturing our youngest children with remarkable patience and genuine warmth. Nichole is deeply attuned to each child’s needs and helps lay the foundation for a safe, loving start to their early learning journey.“I just love to see their fun little personalities develop!”

Amazih V.
Infants -
Amazih has been part of our infant team since 2014 and brings over a decade of hands-on experience in supporting little ones. She values the strong relationships she builds with each child and their family, creating a sense of trust and comfort that lasts. -

Ashley P.
Infants -
Ashley has been with us since 2020, working primarily in our infant classrooms. She enjoys being part of each child’s early learning journey and appreciates seeing how they grow and change over time. Ashley supports the daily rhythm of the classroom and helps create a stable space for infants to grow. -

Allie E.
Infants -
Gaining experience in the field since 2016 and having been at LSA since 2020— Allie is a valued and dedicated member of our team. She holds a degree in Childcare & Adult Education and Paraprofessional Studies. For her, watching infants respond with joy, curiosity, and determination as they grow is one of the most rewarding parts of her day! -

Toddlers -
Georgi has her Child Development Associate Degree, 5 years experience in childcare and has been with LSA since 2023. She finds watching her class's natural curiosities and seeing her guidance help her toddlers reach their milestones deeply rewarding! -

Taylor M.
Toddlers -
Taylor will be celebrating five years of hands-on experience in childcare at LSA with her Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about creating engaging environments where she’s able to witness each child’s confidence and individuality shine as they learn and grow. -

Brianna S.
Toddlers -
Brianna holds a certification in Early Childhood Education and works closely with our toddlers, helping them grow through exploration, play, and meaningful connection. For her, the most rewarding part of her work is watching the children grow and change each day—and seeing the excitement when they begin to understand and remember what they’ve learned! -

Stacy T.
Toddlers -
Stacy, one of our newest additions to the LSA staff, brings over 10 years of experience in childcare. She joined us in 2023 and has quickly become a valued part of our toddler team.
Stacy loves the energy toddlers bring to each day and finds joy in watching their personalities unfold as they begin making choices, sharing opinions, and finding their voice. -

Preschool -
Becca has used her degree in Child/Adult Care and Education for 11 years, 7 of them being at LSA.

Since 2019, Kelcey has been with us here at Little Saints Academy.
“I love working in childcare because kids have this amazing way of making every day fun and different. I get to watch them grow, learn new things, and just be their awesome little selves. It’s so cool to be part of their world and see things through their eyes it makes the small stuff feel exciting again. Honestly, it’s the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.” -

With a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and 10 years of experience, Maria has been at LSA since 2020 teaching preschoolers.

Paula S.
Pre-K & Music -
With over 23 years of teaching experience—including 10 in New York City—
Paula brings deep knowledge and passion to the classroom. Since joining LSA in 2016, she’s served in multiple roles and now leads our Pre-K program. She holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Development, studied K–12 Music Education, and is certified to teach children’s yoga through Yogi Beans Studio in NYC.
One of her favorite parts of early childhood education is seeing the light in children’s eyes as they discover and achieve something new! -

Stacy A.
Kitchen -
Stacy helps keep LSA running smoothly as our dedicated Kitchen Lead. As of 2016, she has overseen our children’s meal and snack planning while also supporting many of the day-to-day logistics that keep our center thriving. Beloved by the children, Stacy is often greeted with smiles, cheerful hellos, and warm hugs as she moves through the building—proof of the strong and caring connections she builds each day.

Amy Bonfig
FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
“Where there is music, there is learning.”
Driven by a passion for both music and child development, Amy brought her vision to life by founding Little Saints Academy in 2010. With a background in music education, she set out to create a nurturing environment where creativity, care, and early learning could flourish hand in hand. A proud and active member of the St. Joseph community, Amy has played a hands-on role in growing LSA into the vibrant, trusted center it is today. -
Sarah Frericks
CO-OWNER, DIRECTOR
Sarah has been part of Little Saints Academy since 2011, just one year after it opened, and has been working in the field of early childhood and education since 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and began her time with us in the infant rooms, later working across all age groups.
In 2017, Sarah stepped into the role of LSA Center Director, where she now combines her deep classroom experience with a passion for supporting staff, children, and families alike. As a co-owner, she remains dedicated to maintaining a nurturing, high-quality environment where children can thrive.
